The renovation of a floor for the clients’ children, located in a villa on the edge of the picturesque Leie river in Bachte-Maria-Leerne, was a project where we started from the desire to create a funky and cosy vibe for the children to grow up. Given the fact that we were designing the children’s interiors, the client agreed upon the use of bright colours and eye-catching details.

The bright pink toilet gives visitors a preview of the interior’s cheerful décor, while the furniture design reflects our love for high-end materials. In the bathroom we had a custom enamel washbasin made, in the same light pink shade that is reflected in the terrazzo, the sockets and the inside of the wardrobes. Even the colour of the shower door hinges comes back in the terrazzo tiling. Down to the smallest details, we created a joyful whole where the children can fully be themselves.
